A Drop In The Ocean

A Drop In The Ocean (ADITO) is one of Paul’s passion projects. It’s an eco doco about the oceans and people power. He likes to use the tag ‘trickle up revolution’ when talking about it.

Here’s a little blurb he wrote about it:

How would it be if greening our communities was as simple as you and me? What if the solutions to the world’s many pressing environmental problems lay not with climate conferences and carbon taxes but with simple things that everyday people could do every day?

This is the core idea behind a new Australian eco-doco, A Drop In The Ocean. Not content simply to examine the adverse impacts of human activity on the world’s oceans, the producers are keen to inspire us all to take practical steps at a personal and local level to mitigate these impacts.

According to the film’s Executive Producer, Tim Langdon from Eco Voice, the aim of the project is positive. “Rather than leave the viewer with a sense of impending ecological doom, we want to empower them,” he says. “As we like to say, it’s a grassroots green movement for a little blue planet.

ADITO is still in production as we type, meaning that Paul and his film buddies are busy doing all that networking and ‘momentum building’ stuff that goes with getting a film project off the ground – hence the two links below.
